i have arrived in Joshua Tree! (yes that is in california) It is amazing here, there is so much rock everywhere and none of the restrictions that you will find in Hueco Tanks. My van broke down about 5 miles from the camp ground and I had to be towed into the camp, but I did make it, and now all of my friends have met me here, so I can get to tryihng to fix the van. I hope that everyone is doing well, I will continue to try and keep you updated, although it will be harder here than near El Paso.
I am loving life :)

This trip back to Hueco has not gone incredibly well.... It started out with my starter dying (I have still not fixed it but have learned how to push start it and hit the starter with a hammer) and then continued with my getting Bronchitis. I was sick for 9 days, 2 of those days were spent in a hotel and some time was spent in a hospital. The good news is that I am now almost all the way better. The bad news, I didn't get to climb for a long time, and now that I am recovering, I can not climb well... not well at all. I also feel horribly out of shape. I hope that I can regain my strenght soon because Indian Creek will be especially trying without it, especially the approaches.
... I am leaving for Indian Creek on the 5th or 6th... it depends how long it takes for me to receive the starter that I ordered.
