Yesterday the ABS7 Nationals took place at the Spot and I was lucky enough to be a judge. Which means I was right up in all the action and I didn't have to pay anything to get in. It was a completly amazing event. The climbers were all so good, well the best of the best I guess. The music was so loud, the crowd was so much louder and there were cameras and judges and spotters everywhere. And then the after party was a blast :) I ended up getting home at about 4:00. I will definatly make my way to Boulder for the nationals next year.
today is my first rest day... we drove into El Paso to do some laundry, pick up some groceries and go to the post office (forgot it was Sunday) and had a rather boring day. El Paso is a pretty aweful place... dust everywhere. The climbing has been absolutley awesome though :) After my bit of flu I finally got some good climbing in yesterday. Tried lobster claw and few times and baby martini the day before. I am definatly going back to finish both of those tomorrow or the next day. Anyways... I can't wait to climb tomorrow and I really don't want to leave to go back to the wonderful job in Boulder. I miss Bo and some of my friends though :( Hope everyone is having as great a time as I am.
