mom

well, mom came and went and we had a wonderful time together. she and denis drove out here for some time at a spa in vale and then to visit me. we camped in rocky mountain national park for two nights, went on a few hikes, went horseback riding (saw the guy in front of me get bucked off his horse), climbed at BRC (mom broke her finger while bouldering there) and just had a great time being together. spending time with her made me realize just how much i missed her...and there was definatly some tears when we had to say bye. i miss spending so much time with my mom and i miss having the best friend around. i hope that i can come home for christmas...i really want to spend some time with both her and mom...but i dread coming home to my room not being my room anymore.

Great friends after just a few days :) Posted by Picasa

Sarah and I decided that we needed to prolong the trip a little bit, so today we went to Eldorado Canyon, just 5 minutes outside of Boulder. There wasn't time for this climb, but we are definatly doing it next time. I climbed my first multi-pitch today :) Posted by Picasa

I hope to be back at Vedauwoo soon, it was really awesome. They rock was super sharp, but if we use tape it wont be that bad. Posted by Picasa

Vedauwoo! So Sarah and I were driving home and she was telling me tales of these awesome climbs at Vedauwoo. We got so excited about climbing again that when we passed it, we decided to stop for a climb. -the climb was up that wonderful crack on the right, into the hole, do a little army crawl and then up a chimney in the middle of the rock. It was awesome! Posted by Picasa

Megan, Sarah and I at the end of Sunday! We are about to leave for Park City. Posted by Picasa

Porscha climbing her first crack! We did this one four times because it was so great - despite how much it killed my ankles. I hope that they get use to this kind of use soon. Posted by Picasa
